BuiltByDe is free and works with no account — your training data lives on your own device. If you choose to create an account, we sync that data to the cloud so you can use it on other devices. We don’t sell your data, we don’t run third-party ad tracking, and you can delete your account and all its data at any time from inside the app.
Data you enter. Workouts, sets, reps, weights, personal records, bodyweight and body measurements, physique scores, your name, age, height, goals, and any notes you add. If you don’t create an account, this stays on your device only.
Account data (optional). If you create an account, we store your email address and the training data above in our cloud database so it can sync across your devices.
Coach / athlete links (optional). If you join a coach with an invite code, that coach can see your training data so they can program for you. If you are a coach, you can see the training data of athletes who join you.
Payment data (if you buy something). Purchases such as coaching or physique-score reviews are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos (beyond any you choose to attach locally), or sensitive identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Without an account, your data is stored locally in your browser/device only. With an account, it is also stored in our cloud database (Supabase). Local backups you export are stored wherever you save them.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we remove your cloud data and authentication record. Data stored only on your device remains until you clear it or delete your account.
BuiltByDe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you are under 18, use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, authenticated access) to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll post the new effective date here, and significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
